Tanya recognised the opportunity to create New Zealand’s best Au Pair service when her own children were little. Since then, her family has hosted many Au Pairs over the years. Tanya is a Chartered Accountant with extensive corporate experience in human resources and recruitment. Tanya has traveled extensively and is a keen sailor.
Sarah and her team are responsible for matching our Au Pairs with their Host Families as well as providing our extensive ongoing support services. Sarah is also a Host Mother so knows all about hosting Au Pairs first hand.
Jill has over 10 years of experience in corporate recruitment and loves the process of finding the right au pairs to match with her families. She emigrated from South Africa with her family in January 2015 and with 4 children, she understands first-hand how busy life is with kids and how Au Pairs can help.
Ottalie has 8 years’ experience in customer service. She was previously an Au Pair in Australia and has been a Nanny in New Zealand with Kiwi Oz Nannies so knows first-hand how to support our candidates and ensure they have a great placement with our Families. Originally from England, Ottalie likes to spend her spare time exploring this beautiful country.
Mandy is originally from England and came to New Zealand many years ago with her husband. She is mum to two terrific teenage boys and an avid concert goer. Mandy holds a Bachelor in Teaching Early Childhood Education and is an experienced Education Manager with several years teaching experience in both centre and home based settings. Mandy is a firm supporter of education in partnership with a child's family and Whanau.
Lynette has worked within the Early Childhood sector for more than 25 years and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. She has been involved in the home based sector for the last 10+ years and brings a wealth of experience to her role here at Dream Au Pair. Lynette and her husband enjoy travelling extensively.
Melissa Cole, who you can call Mell for short, has been working in the Early Childhood Education sector since 2009. She has experience with all age groups of children under six years old. Mell holds a Bachelor of teaching in Early Childhood Education and is a fully registered teacher. She also enjoys supporting children’s interaction and engagement with music.
Emily began her teaching Career in 2010, when she started working at an Early Childhood Centre. In 2014, she completed her Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood Education with the New Zealand Tertiary College and she holds a full teacher registration. She has over 10 years of experience working with children from babies to pre-schoolers. Emily believes it is so rewarding to work with children and be a positive role model, to inspire them, to develop and grow to their full potential. In her spare time, Emily loves to spend time with her family and baking up a storm in the kitchen.
Amanda has been working in the Early Childhood sector for over 24 years. She has worked in centres for the majority of this time. After completing her Certificate in Early Childhood, she ventured overseas for a year and worked as a nanny whilst there. On her return, she completed her Diploma of Teaching ECE. The following 20 years she moved up from a teacher to Supervise then Manager in a specific under 2 centre in Birkenhead. Amanda has a passion for infants and toddlers and enjoys the special qualities of this specific age group.
Verity Payne, who you can call Vee, discovered her love for teaching back in 2010 when she began working in an Early Childhood Centre on the North Shore. She then went onto complete a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) at Unitec in 2014 before becoming a fully registered teacher. Verity has spent her recent years working as a teacher in the ECE sector at a rural centre. Verity has experience working with children from babies to preschoolers and has a passion for providing all children with equal learning opportunities and has a love for the outdoors.
Sarah gained her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education in Australia and has taught children in Australia, Italy, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. Her experience includes nannying abroad, teaching preschool and primary aged kids in centre based and home based settings. Sarah returned to Dream Au Pair after having her son, to manage the Orientation Workshops as well as other Au Pair activities.
Our money man, Martin is here to help you with the financial aspects of employing an Au Pair. Originally from Canton in China, Martin has lived in New Zealand for over 10 years. He is responsible for our general accounting functions and is the Dream Au Pair Payroll expert. He manages the Au Pair Play and Learn enrolments and time-sheets as well as 20 hours ECE, WINZ and OSCAR subsidies.
