Tanya recognised the opportunity to create New Zealand’s best Au Pair service when her own children were little. Since then, her family has hosted many Au Pairs over the years. Tanya is a Chartered Accountant with extensive corporate experience in human resources and recruitment. Tanya has traveled extensively and is a keen sailor.
Sarah and her team are responsible for matching our Au Pairs with their Host Families as well as providing our extensive ongoing support services. Sarah is also a Host Mother so knows all about hosting Au Pairs first hand.
Alida is from Germany and worked for our partner Au Pair agency interviewing Au Pairs before they started their big adventure in New Zealand. Now she really enjoys working “on the other side” helping Kiwi families find the right Au Pair to fit into their families. Her biggest passion is travelling and experiencing new things.
Jill has over 10 years of experience in corporate recruitment and loves the process of finding the right au pairs to match with her families. She emigrated from South Africa with her family in January 2015 and with 4 children, she understands first-hand how busy life is with kids and how Au Pairs can help.
Mandy is originally from England and came to New Zealand many years ago with her husband. She is mum to two terrific teenage boys and an avid concert goer. Mandy holds a Bachelor in Teaching Early Childhood Education and is an experienced Education Manager with several years teaching experience in both centre and home based settings. Mandy is a firm supporter of education in partnership with a child's family and Whanau.
Lynette has worked within the Early Childhood sector for more than 25 years and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. She has been involved in the home based sector for the last 10+ years and brings a wealth of experience to her role here at Dream Au Pair. Lynette and her husband enjoy travelling extensively.
Shiree holds an ECE teaching Degree and has worked in early childhood settings for close to 21 years. She is an enthusiastic and passionate Early Childhood Teacher believing strongly in the importance of providing safe and stimulating environments for young children. Shiree and her husband have 3 beautiful children and recently fostered a guide dog puppy. She loves fashion and art and her family are keen water skiers.
Maree has worked in education for 20 years in both Kindergardens, Infant and Toddler Centres and Home-Based Care. All of these opportunities shaped her passion for Early Childhood Education. She loves learning with and alongside children every day. These experiences with children and their familes are absolutely treasured as they make Maree think, reflect, laugh and sometimes even cry! Maree lives in Te Awamutu with her husband Mark and their two children.
Jayne is a registered teacher with a B.Ed. Teaching Early Years (0-8). She has taught in variety of educational environments including new entrant classrooms, kindergartens, a childcare centre and most recently as a home based teacher for Dream Au Pair. Jayne is responsible for delivering the Play and Learn programme in the wider Wellington region, including Kapiti Coast and Wairarapa. A ”young at heart” grandmother Jayne has 2 beautiful grandsons.
Sarah gained her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education in Australia and has taught children in Australia, Italy, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. Her experience includes nannying abroad, teaching preschool and primary aged kids in centre based and home based settings. Sarah returned to Dream Au Pair after having her son, to manage the Orientation Workshops as well as other Au Pair activities.
Nadia has nearly 15 years’ experience in Advertising, Project Management, Marketing, Production and Brand Activations. Nadia loves working for Dream Au Pair as she gets the chance to combine her passion for operations and communication with her knowledge of hosting over 9 Au Pairs.
Rolien had such fun in New Zealand as an Au Pair for an Auckland family she decided to stay and study Business at Auckland University. She works part-time at the Dream Au Pair office in administration. She loves everything food related and explores New Zealand as much possible.
Pernille has 4 years’ experience being an admin superstar. Pernille loves working for Dream Au Pair as she thrives on being busy and enjoys being able to work closely with Tanya and the rest of the Management Team. Pernille was also an Au Pair in New Zealand for one year, fell in love and now calls New Zealand home.
Our money man, Martin is here to help you with the financial aspects of employing an Au Pair. Originally from Canton in China, Martin has lived in New Zealand for over 10 years. He is responsible for our general accounting functions and is the Dream Au Pair Payroll expert. He manages the Au Pair Play and Learn enrolments and time-sheets as well as 20 hours ECE, WINZ and OSCAR subsidies.
Alice joins us from a background in external payroll and is an experienced administrator. She is our resident Au Pair Payroll expert and together with the finance team is responsible for processing the weekly Au Pair payroll. Originally from Vietnam Alice loves to travel, read and listen to music in her free time.
